Patients who are already being treated at Hale County Hospital can transition seamlessly from acute care to skilled nursing care without relocating, making recovery less stressful and more convenient.

    Hale County Hospital’s Swing Bed services are especially beneficial for patients transferring from larger medical centers in Tuscaloosa or Birmingham, providing an opportunity to recover closer to loved ones. This service is ideal for individuals requiring long-term IV antibiotics, wound care, rehabilitation after surgery, or physical therapy following a stroke, accident, or injury.
