3rd Annual Main Street Community Festival
We’re excited to announce the 3rd Annual Main Street Community Festival by Hale County Hospital on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 11 AM to 6 PM in Greensboro, AL!
This year, the festival will serve as a fundraiser for Hale County Hospital’s ER renovations, which are long overdue—the ER has not been updated since the hospital opened in 1963. All proceeds will go directly to the renovation fund, helping us improve emergency care for our community.
Throughout the day, we will feature live performances by local Hale County artists, children’s activities, food, and local vendors. We are currently accepting vendor applications and sponsorships at the following levels:

Diabetes Education Class
Hale County Hospital is pleased to continue its partnership with the University of Alabama College of Community Health Sciences to offer a free Diabetic Education class for our community on Tuesday, February, 25, from 2:00 to 4:00PM, at the hospital.
This class will be led by Registered Dietitian Suzanne Henson and LPN Kim McMillan and will cover essential information on managing diabetes through proper diet, including practical tips for grocery shopping and meal planning. Participants will also learn simple exercises to stay active, which help keep blood sugar levels low and provide numerous other health benefits.
This is a great opportunity to connect with others who are managing diabetes and gain valuable insights that may not have been provided when you were first diagnosed.
