Diabetes Education Class

  • Hale County Hospital 508 Green Street Greensboro, AL, 36744 (map)

Hale County Hospital is pleased to continue its partnership with the University of Alabama College of Community Health Sciences to offer a free Diabetic Education class for our community on Tuesday, February, 25, from 2:00 to 4:00PM, at the hospital.

This class will be led by Registered Dietitian Suzanne Henson and LPN Kim McMillan and will cover essential information on managing diabetes through proper diet, including practical tips for grocery shopping and meal planning. Participants will also learn simple exercises to stay active, which help keep blood sugar levels low and provide numerous other health benefits.

This is a great opportunity to connect with others who are managing diabetes and gain valuable insights that may not have been provided when you were first diagnosed.

For more information or to register, please call the Hale County Hospital Clinic at 334-624-4442 or Moundville Medical Associates at 205-371-4444. We look forward to helping you manage your diabetes with expert guidance and support.
