Moundville Medical Associates opened in April of 2016, serving as a new branch of the Hale County Hospital. Our general practice healthcare clinic allows us to reach further into the Hale County community, as well as serving parts of the Tuscaloosa community, to deliver personal, high-touch care to our neighbors. Our dedicated team of doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses work continuously to bring you the holistic care you deserve. Some of our services include:
Primary care, including regular check-ups
Pediatric and geriatric care
Preventative care, including vaccinations
Diagnostic services through Hale County Hospital
As a National Health Service Corps Site, we promise to serve all patients, offer discounted fees for patients who qualify, and not deny services based on a person’s: race, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, color, national origin, sex, disability, religion, or inability to pay. We accept insurances including but not limited to the following: Medicaid, Medicare, and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
As neighbors caring for neighbors, our promise to you is that you will never be turned away from our clinic because you are unable to pay. We offer a comprehensive Sliding Fee Scale program, which may make a visit to our clinic more affordable for your or your family.
