The year 2023 brings the bicentennial celebration of the City of Greensboro which was founded in 1823. Our historic city has been quiet the last few years due to the pandemic and the staff at Hale County Hospital worked hard to ensure its community members stayed safe.
To bring back the spirit and life that Greensboro has been known to have, while also connecting and highlighting all parts of our beautiful community, Hale County Hospital is sponsoring the Main Street Community Festival.
The festival will begin with vendors from the local and extended community setting up along Main Street between 8 and 10 am.
At 1 pm a parade, each float representing a part of the Greensboro Community, will proceed down Main Street. After the parade, health workshops, children's activities, live music and vendors will be featured along the side streets of Main Street, including Market and Beacon Street.
