Hale County Hospital is dedicated to pursuing healing, providing comfort, and delivering care to improve the physical and mental health of people in Hale County and surrounding communities living with acute and chronic illnesses.

We prioritize relationship-driven, community-centered healthcare, strengthened by programs, activities, and partnerships that support the well-being of our patients and our neighbors.

Education is integrally woven into our mission. Through experiential learning initiatives we prepare students—from high school through graduate school—to become the community health and citizen service leaders needed in our region, state, and nation. With a special focus on developing leaders for rural and underserved communities, we also strive to equip medical, health professions, and other students with the humanistic and community-centered approach that defines our work.
